We have a great range of cardio equipment, weight machines and free weights and a members lounge were you can relax with the other foxy Fernwood ladies after your workout.
One of the great advantages of working out at Fernwood is that because we are women only, everything is much cleaner and smells much nicer than mixed gyms - you'll feel like it's your home away from home.
Qualified Staff
No need to feel confused or unsure how to use a piece of equipment, as we’re always here to help. Member Motivators are always on the floor to help you with your specific questions and needs - as well as offer you chilled scented face towels.
Group Fitness
At Fernwood we know that variety is the spice of life and that’s why our Group Fitness timetables are jam-packed with variety and suited for all levels of fitness.
Don’t be afraid or embarrassed if you have never done a class before because we have all been there - just go at your own pace.
Variety
Our bathrooms feature a range of free toiletries for you to use and ironing facilities to make sure getting ready for work is as convenient as if you were in your own home. On weekdays you are welcome to sit down and enjoy a complimentary continental breakfast – what better way to finish your morning workout!
Most clubs also have child minding facilities available which makes committing to your workout just that little bit easier. Contact your local club to find out if child minding is available.
Slimplicity
Slimplicity is a long-term eating plan, designed under the direction of our scientific advisory council and a dietician who believes food should be delicious as well as nutritious. The program shows participants how to enjoy five delicious meals each day, kick starting the metabolism and prevent hunger, while achieving weight loss.
Experience the difference of Slimplicity with weekly 1-on-1 sessions with your own Slim Coach who'll motivate and educate you on weight loss within the convenience of a supportive health club environment.
Personal Training
Fernwood Personal Training Program is designed to give women the best results in the shortest amount of time. It’s that simple, and nothing beats it. The sessions are 30 minutes, one-on-one, with a strength training focus that will give you an all-over workout. And your workout sessions are tailored to your specific needs and fitness goals.
