Our Programs
As the experts in women’s fitness we know that variety in your workout is important. Challenge yourself, change your workout, increase the intensity, lift more weight, try something new and you’ll be on the path to success. Keep doing what you are doing and you’ll get the same results.
Fernwood offer a wide variety of exercise programs to keep you motivated and get the results you want. We make a big investment in making sure you have the right programs, classes and equipment. Take a look below to find out what is on offer at Fernwood and discover why it will benefit you.
Operation Wedding Dress
Operation wedding dress is a program for brides and their bridal parties to prepare them physically, mentally and emotionally for the big day.
The 12 week program is a combination of weekly weight management coaching and education, weekly personal training, plus group sessions and stress management to ensure you feel incredible in your gown on that day, and confident in your bathers on the honeymoon.
Personal Training
Once upon a time, personal training was just for Hollywood actors and reality TV show participants. But Fernwood personal training is for every woman and it’s part of your essential toolkit for a healthy and lean body.
Military Miss Bootcamp
Military Miss is for the bold and the brave. The eight-week program, which launches twice a year, focuses on intensity and endurance. And while the physical and mental demands are broad and challenging, the camp is also great fun. Recruits are pushed to reach their peak physical fitness.
Strength Training for Women
Fernwood know that one of the best forms of exercise that women can do is strength training. We don’t fuss around and call it by other names – because we know that strong women are typically leaner and healthier. But not all strength training is equal. The equipment does matter and so does the type and intensity of the exercise you do.
Exercise and Pregnancy
Your waistline is missing in action, your back aches, you can smell things in the next suburb and you have developed a tendency to be vague... or somethingerother.
But can you still exercise? Absolutely – this is your guide to exercising and keeping fit during pregnancy.
Group Fitness
Group fitness has come a long way from the old-style aerobics that you might remember from the eighties. And thank God the leotard is a thing of the past – even if Madonna tried to bring it back into fashion.
