On joining the challenge...
I first did the challenge in 2013 and loved the competitive energy boost participating created. I was hoping that joining this year would pull me out of a motivation slump I’d been in since Christmas.
On her best and worst challenge moments...
The worst moment of the challenge was waiting outside my food coach’s office before a weigh in, with every single thing that has passed my lips over the last week running through my mind! But the best moment is coming out with another negative reading on the scale. I enjoyed sharing activities with the other ladies. We were all on the same path, even if we had different goals, and seeing some of the other ladies transform over the 12 weeks was inspiring!
The biggest single factor my success rested on was not looking at the challenge as just 12 weeks, but putting the longer timeframe of the rest of my life into the equation. It’s not only a change in diet and exercise, it’s a lifestyle change.
